Obituary
Malvern
Max David Chenault Sr., 47, of Malvern, a retired chief warrant officer of the U.S. Navy
and an employee of the Cal-Ark Trucking Co., died Monday (1-1-90).  He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Linda Chenault; a son, Max David Chenault Jr. of Bethesda, Md.;
two daughters, Charla Kim Lewis of Traskwood and Donna Kay Chenault of Malvern;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Chenault of Malvern; three sisters, Wanda Noel of Bryant,
Margarite Heard of Lexington, Ky., and Phyllis Ann McClay of Kansas City, Mo.; and a grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Third Baptist Church in Malvern.
Burial will be in Fairplay Cemetery in Saline County by Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern.

Thanks for the Memorial Page. Hope some others are able to fill in
additional information. Larry Wright and Max Chenault were both in my
sunday school class at Third Baptist Church as long as I was in Malvern.
We kind of grew up together.  I didn't know about Max until recently.

Mom says Larry Wright died of Hodgkins Disease. I don't think I knew
that. I just knew he got sick and died all of a sudden. I don't know
what happened to Max.

You guys don't know me but.....you did know my dad.
Max Chenault lost his life due to a massive heart attack.
I was just surfing around in the Malvern sites and there he was :)

Hi Charla,
I saw your post at out Malvern High School 1960 Class.
Is the anything you would like to add to the webpage we made for Max?
I went to school with him from elemenatry school onwards to high school.
Do you recall what years he was in the navy and when he retired?  
I totally lost touch with him after high school.

Max was a dear friend of mine, too.
He and I were always sitting beside each other since my last name was Chadwick.

Charla, your dad was always so nice. My dad knew Max when Max was at 
Radio Shack. He thought the world of him. My dad is a ham radio 
operator and was a customer there quite often. I remember when your 
dad was running for some office at school and he wore an orange 
(coral) sport coat while campaigning (school colors, you know).
