That is all she knows.   
Ed said that he was killed in a car accident.

Yes, auto wreck. He and his wife, Ann Cummings David, were killed. 
She was class of '61. They left a 4 year old and an 11 month old daughter. 
They were on their way to LR to celebrate their 8th anniversary 
when a flat boy trailer came loose, crossed the median and hit them head on. 
My husband and I raised their girls with our two. 
We had 4 children from 1 to 5 years old. Now they are 42 to 46.
