Mary Jo (Avery) Bailey MHS Class of 1959 (8/25/00) Facebook Malvern 1960 Group on Nov 9, 2020 Bill Lamkins I had several classes with Mrs. Jones. Her obituary was in the 4/20/99 Malvern Daily Record Dorothy Branum Sealy I thought a lot of Mrs Jones. She either wore red or black clothing. Benjamin Owen I remember Mrs. Jones had a small fan in her room that she pointed toward the front wall from about a 6' to 10' distance. I have no doubt, with her geometrically tuned mind, she figured out the best way to get the most air circulation in the room. I am not TOTALLY positive it helped much, but I would never have questioned her judgement!! Donald J Loser And, I can honestly say I don't remember ever perspiring from the heat in the building (not to say it wasn't very comfortable at times)...only maybe some nervous perspiration when Mrs. Jones started walking up and down the aisles to ensure placement of each chair leg on its proper board!! She is the teacher I had the most respect for...or, as my English teachers would prefer. for whom I had the most respect ...a touch of fear mighta been present, as well. (11/10/20) Judy Feland Thank you for posting the obituary.... While I never had a class with her, I remember her with awe and admiration. The details of her Life listed here make me appreciate her even more.... (11/11/20)
