Thank you so much for putting all this info out there for us. Just a word about Mrs. Kyle. She was my favorite teacher of them all and what a class act she was. She intended for her students to learn in her class and no fooling around about it. I really believe that she was serious about her teaching and she was there for more than a pay check. Wish we had thousands of teachers just like her today. No doubt she was a no nonsense instructor and I must say that I paid attention to her and hardly moved for the whole class. One, I respected her; two, I didn’t want to draw attention to myself. haha One thing about her that might not have been noticed by everyone was that she had a huge heart. If she saw someone who was very shy, withdrawn, perhaps had visible signs that they might have come from a bad home life, she would show them the most loving attention. Her heart went out to them and it showed in her voice and her actions. I have personally seen this more than once. A great teacher! I was blessed to have known her for the short time she was in my life. -Jimmie Rae Davidson Berry (3/8/11) Hi Jimmie Rae, Thanks for the remembrance. I don't think I ever had her for a teacher. -Bill Lamkins (3/10/11)
